Install PenLayer on your Mac

Download PenLayer from penlayer.com/download, drag it into your Applications folder, and open it from there.

What you need

• A Mac running macOS 12.0 or later.
• Any pointer: a mouse, a trackpad or a graphics tablet.
• No account. Drawing works with Wi-Fi off.

Install it

1. Go to the download page and download PenLayer. You get a .dmg disk image.
2. Open the disk image.
3. Drag PenLayer into your Applications folder.
4. Open PenLayer from Applications.

PenLayer is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it like any other app from a known developer.
